Christmas 2018!

December 26, 2018

Merry Christmas~ To one and all!

Having younger brothers means that Santa is a very real thing in our household. Many letters were written, from the children and parents. Lists and desperate pleas for better behaviour or Christmas consequences would be seen.

Like every year, my mum asked: "so where's your list to Santa?" As an 18 year old whose idea of Santa was shattered years before, I told her I didn't have one. Usually, even if I write one, it would get lost and I would get a gift card. But this year, I handed over my letter reluctantly to save face for the all-seeing Santa.

I don't know if my recent academic achievements caused a change in my Christmas luck, but this year I got exactly what I wanted, even if it meant I had to do most of the Christmas dinner cooking. So watch out for reviews on the Naked Cherry Palette and the remaining two To All The Boys books by Jenny Han.

Activities wise, we travelled to see family, carrying the entire Christmas dinner so we could share. This is usually difficult for me as I am often the one in charge of watching my brothers as my parents socialise. My ideal Christmas day activity would be to just stay home and eat all day surrounded by my immediate family. But I don't have much say in the matter.

This is it for the time being. Will write more in the new year.

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and I will talk again soon x
