2018 PROM

The day has come, weeks of prep later and it has finally arrived... PROM!

The Dress:

( Asos Chi Chi London Navy Cap Sleeve Tea dress )

I chose this navy tea dress because I love the brand Chi Chi and have wanted to own one of their dresses since I was 14, so I used prom as that oppurtunity. Added bonus is that the colour scheme for prom was Navy and Gold.


Makeup:

For prom I decided to have a lowkey glam look, with bright eyeshadow and wine red lips being the points of interest. I used the Urban Decay All Nighter foundation for my base and my Laura Geller Baked Gelato Swirl Illuminator for my highlight. A few days before Prom I had my brows waxed for the first time (it didn't hurt as much as I thought), so I decided to let my brows rest, using a light amount of product with my Collection brow pencil.

Shoes:

( Asos Raid Metallic Gold low heels)

You can't see the heel but the shoes do have an inch heel, I wanted to keep it low so I wouldn't be in excrutiating pain all night (it was a good choice). Added Bonus, the shoes were a gold colour so it matched the theme.

Nails:

I hadf my nails done proffessionally and I love them!

A rundown of the evening:
The date was Tuesday 3rd July, England were playing against Columbia and we were having our prom. To ensure people turned up we had to show the match during prom. This created a lot of highlights as we got to celebrate England winning as a year group, making our last time as a huge group a good time. Once the game ended we all celebrated to the music the DJ was playing, new songs, old songs, football songs and despacito. Prom king and queen were announced and it went to the most deserving couple although their acceptance kiss was pretty awkward, our head of year cringing and covering her face as the kiss lasted a little too long.
But all in all the night was ace!

10/10 would recommend.
